Ian Fleming was a giant of 20th Century Scottish Art - Malcolm McCoig, who knew him as a colleague and friend for over 30 years, introduces two illuminating interviews from the 1980s.
David Evans lived in Edinburgh from 1965 until his death in 2020, and taught at ECA for over thirty years. His paintings have an atmosphere that few can capture. Douglas Erskine explores it.
Tony Davidson's Kilmorack Gallery is one of the beacons of high quality art in the Highlands, and one of the finest in the country. He's written a book describing his first 25 years in business, and we talk to him about working with artists and running a gallery in 2022.
Rodger Insh lives and works in Montrose and has never sought the spotlight. He's an extraordinary painter whose technical control and creative intensity have enabled him to produce powerful pictures in contrasting styles. Roger Spence talked to him at his home.
